Welcome

Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church welcomes everyone. We strive for diversity in our congregation, believing that all people are created in God’s image and loved unconditionally by God. We seek to be an inclusive and multicultural church of different ages, racial backgrounds, classes, genders and sexual orientations. We believe and work hard at “Embracing All People.” Every person is a child of God and we accept them as they are. We are diverse in theology. John Wesley believed that “In essentials unity, in non-essentials freedom, in all things charity.” That is what we strive for at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church. We seek unity in our common faith in Jesus Christ and our common commitment to grow in Christian discipleship. As a church we certainly try to live out this statement. We are blessed to welcome all people and enjoy a rich community with those whom God has led through our doors.

We’re pretty friendly, so you will probably receive a warm welcome more than once while you are here. We don’t want anyone to leave a stranger. Our regular church service is Sunday mornings at 10:30 am. (Note the time change!)

And don’t worry, you don’t have to know when to stand or sit during the service and you won’t take anyone’s parking spot or pew. We are a welcoming and loving congregation and we simply want to come together to worship God, so come join us. If you aren’t sure where to find something or have any questions, please feel free to ask a greeter or usher or anyone you see walking by. We all want to help make your experience as comfortable as possible. We’d love to have you among us this Sunday.

Lastly, you don’t have to be a member to serve Christ with us! We may be small but we are serving Christ in many different ministries. We would love nothing better than you to join us in serving!
